The cholesterol is indispensable to the body and 75% of it is produced by the liver. Because of the cholesterol, the body produces vitamin D, useful in setting the calcium in the bones. But when in excess in the blood for a long time, the cholesterol is deposited on artery walls and becomes one of the main risk factors of cardiovascular diseases.
The first step - Changing dietary habits
Changing poor eating habits is a useful strategy to reduce the bad cholesterol. “A
diet based on foods such as fish, vegetables, vegetable oils (no red meat, fatty or fermented milk and eggs), followed in the same time with a herbal treatment is an important step in the battle with the silent enemy – the cholesterol", says Eugen Giurgiu, Doctor in biochemistry, with expertise in phytotherapy and nutrition. Recent studies indicate that the first effects of this regime anti-cholesterol occur after 60 days and should be continued for two years. In such cases, cardiovascular accidents are significantly reduced, with 66%."
Daily treatment with plants
Artichokes is a herbal medicine that deals with the whole body chemistry and is an excellent detox. The infusion has anti-cholesterol effects and is prepared from 500 ml of boiling water poured over a spoon of leaves. Cover for five minutes, and then filter. Drink half of the amount in the morning, and the remaining tea before lunch and evening meals. The Artichoke cure lasts 14 days per month.
The treatment with blueberry leaves reduces the cholesterol and blood sugar. Use both infusion and decoction of blueberry. The infusion is prepared from a teaspoon of chopped leaves and a cup of boiling water. Decoction is prepared from two teaspoons of plant and 250 ml of water, which must boil for 5 minutes. Drink one cup after each meal, for at least 21 days.
Plantain is an anti-cholesterol remedy verified on thousands of patients. The treatment with this herb prevents the increase in the blood at alarming levels of the "bad" cholesterol. Infusion is recommended and it is prepared from a spoon of the plant and a cup of 200 ml of boiling water. Drink one tablespoon every two hours. This treatment should be followed for 14 days and it may be repeated after a ten days break.
Birch used as infusion promotes elimination of uric acid and bad cholesterol in the blood. The infusion is prepared from a spoon of leaves and a cup of hot water. Allow the infusion to settle for ten minutes and drink it sweetened with honey. The treatment duration is ten days per month or as recommended by an expert. Those suffering from heart or kidney disease should avoid infusion of birch.

Green tea helps eliminate the fat that is deposited on the walls of blood vessels. The daily dose is two cups of green tea, sweetened only with honey, as it is incompatible with sugar. Treatment lasts three weeks a month.
Grapes reduce high levels of cholesterol. The sweet and aromatic fruit has decongestant properties and anti-cholesterol. But to benefit from its therapeutic qualities, grapes should be eaten shell and all, 300 g per day. You can also prepare grape seeds tea: five seeds in a cup of boiling water. Consume three cups of infusion daily.
A complex tea with particularly good effect is prepared from a mixture of plants:
· 10 g Soapwort (Saponaria officinalis) and marigold
· 20 g Cherry stalks
· 25g Artichoke leaves
· 25g Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) leaves
· 20g Mouse-ear Hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella) leaves
Place 2 Tbsp from this mixture in 500 ml boiling water. The tea must boil for three minutes, and then allow infusing for 15 minutes. Drink two cups per day. The treatment must be continued for two months.

No doctor is ever going to do the right thing. They are going to tell you that you need to take their profit-generating drugs, whether they are in your best interest or not. You do not need stains for cholesterol. High cholesterol is not caused by eating cholesterol. Quite the opposite. Eating cholesterol containing foods decreases the amount of cholesterol you make. Momentarily, when you make the move to cholesterol containing foods, it may rise but won't stay that way unless you are eating a lot of wheat and simple sugars with it. You will find more about cholesterol and home remedies used for it in the source http://www.ayurvediccure.com/simple-and-effective-home-remedies-for-cholesterol/ which are helpful for lower it.
