Common Houseleek (Sempervivum tectorum) oil relieves pain
Poultices: fresh leaves of common houseleek are placed in a cup of boiling water; leave for 10-15 seconds, then remove, crush the leaves and apply as poultice, behind the ear.
Tincture: put 2-3 drops in the ear, 3 times daily.
Nettle tea reduces inflammations
Infusion of a spoonful of flowers to 250 ml boiling water, infuse for 5 minutes, strain, drink four cups a day. You can also wash the ears with this infusion.
Lemon juice stops secretion
Place one drop of lemon juice in each ear, every night until secretions disappear.
Chamomile, good against ear palpitations
In a small gauze bag put dried chamomile and heat it by putting the bag on the lid of a steam bath, then apply the plant, as a poultice, on the painful ear and keep for 10 minutes; do this two times a day.
Propolis tincture treats otitis
It is a good natural method good for sick ears. To get rid of the pain, put one drop of propolis tincture in each ear, two times daily for 7-10 days.
In some cases, acupuncture can be effective. Beware, however: seek medical advice before ear problems worsen.
