Garlic treats ear pain and infection

Ear pain and infection can be treated at home, using the garlic. Garlic contains allicin, a natural antibiotic, the main ingredient of herbal remedies for curing ailments and infections.

Eaten fresh, garlic can treat other infections, acting as a tonic for the entire body. Pharmacies sell a lot of supplements and capsules having garlic as a unique ingredient. Their oil can be used in the same way as the one obtained from fresh, crushed garlic. If you choose to prepare this herbal remedy yourself, the steps are not complicated. Cut three or four cloves of garlic, put them in a pot, pour olive oil just enough to cover the garlic mixture and cook on low heat for an hour. After one hour strain the ingredients through a fine sieve into a glass and then you store it in the refrigerator.

According to the alternative medicine, one of the best remedies for getting rid of ear pain may be the solution contained in garlic, colloidal silver, extracts of tea tree oil, olive oil and apple vinegar. This mixture can be obtained following a simple recipe:
  • three drops of tea tree oil
  • one teaspoon of apple vinegar
  • two tablespoons of olive oil
  • one teaspoon of colloidal silver – an ingredient found in pharmacies in the form of solution
Heated, this mixture may be a good treatment for ear infections and pain. The results of this treatment will be visible within 24 or 48 hours. If you do not have all the ingredients, any combination of those mentioned is good. Oregano oil also successfully replaces the extract of tea tree.

A treatment somewhat easy to prepare and as effective has as ingredients garlic, honey and apple vinegar.

Before resorting to these remedies, easily prepared at home, be sure to consult a physician to avoid complications.
