Cherries – a natural aspirin

More and more studies show that cherries have the same anti-inflammatory action like aspirin. Scientists at the University of California discovered that eating cherries for 28 days reduces inflammation in the body by about 25%. Rich in vitamin C, potassium, boron, but also anthocyanin which gives them the specific red color, cherries reduce pain almost as well as ibuprofen and aspirin, and have the same properties as the anti-inflammatory drugs. Moreover, specialists from the University of Oregon have discovered that cherry juice reduces the intensity of pain and tension felt after sustained physical exercise.
